“TAGGING” Natural Stone Slabs for your countertop project

Whether you have selected a stone based on one of our Standard Collection or Showcase Collection samples, or if you have your eye set on a colour of stone from a magazine or design show, you will have to visit one of our Natural Stone Slab Distributors to view and “TAG” the slabs of stone which you countertop will be made from.  We have provided maps to a number of  our slab distributors below. 

You do not require an appointment to view and tag slabs.  Just make sure you visit the locations within their business hours and leave yourself at least 1hour before they close to ensure you have enough time to make up your mind!  There are so many slabs to choose from. 

When you visit one of our approved Natural Stone Slab distributors, a knowledgeable salesperson will accompany you through their massive selection of amazing natural stone slabs. They will be able to answer any questions you may have about the characteristics of the slabs you will see. Generally, the first slab of each natural stone block will be available to view as it will be consistent with the rest of the block of slabs.   

When you have found the stone for your project, the salesperson will “TAG” the stone you have selected with your name and Latitude’s name. These slabs will now be held until we fabricate your countertop**. The number of slabs required will vary based on the size of your countertop as well as the pattern of the stone which you select.   

The task of tagging a slab is a really exciting thing!   It’s often an awe-inspiring moment when you first see the size and beauty of a full natural stone slab if you have never seen one before.
